Question: What is the supplication established from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when slaughtering the sacrifice? And the famous supplication for sacrifice إني وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السماوات والأرض, is it weak? And if we perform the sacrifice on behalf of another person, what should we say?

In the case of the question, it should be clear that various words of supplication at the time of slaughtering the sacrificial animal are established from authentic Prophetic hadiths, and the animal can be slaughtered by reciting any of these forms. It is not necessary to slaughter the sacrificial animal by reciting إني وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السماوات والأرض only. And if a person slaughters the sacrificial animal by reciting إني وجهت وجهي, this is also correct and established from authentic Prophetic hadiths with a good chain of narration, and Imam Ibn Hajar, Shuayb Arna'ut, Al-Albani, and many others have declared it good.
The words of the supplication at the time of slaughtering the sacrificial animal are as follows:
Translation: Anas رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sacrificed two rams. I saw the Prophet ﷺ placing his feet on the animal and saying "Bismillah, Allahu Akbar." Thus, he slaughtered both rams with his own hand.

Translation: Anas رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sacrificed two rams, placing his feet on their necks and said: ”بسم الله والله أكبر اللهم منك ولك“
Reference: Narrated by Musnad Abi Awana (7798) and the wording and chain are authentic

Translation: It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha رضي الله عنها, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered to bring a horned ram that walks in blackness, sits in blackness, and looks in blackness (meaning its feet, belly, and around the eyes are black). Then such a ram was brought for sacrifice. He ﷺ said: "O Aisha! Bring the knife." Then he said: "Sharpen it with a stone." I sharpened it. Then the Prophet ﷺ took the knife, held the ram, laid it down, and slaughtered it. Then he said: "Bismillah, O Allah! Accept it on behalf of Muhammad ﷺ, and on behalf of the family of Muhammad ﷺ, and on behalf of the nation of Muhammad ﷺ." Then he sacrificed it.

Translation: Jabir bin Abdullah رضي الله عنهما said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed two rams on the day of Eid al-Adha, and when he turned their faces towards the Qiblah, he said: ”إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، بِاسْمِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأُمَّتِهِ“ "I turn my face towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not among the polytheists. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds, who has no partner. And I have been commanded to be among the first to submit to Him. O Allah! This sacrifice is from You and for You. Accept it on behalf of Muhammad and his nation."

Initially, Sheikh Al-Albani declared it weak but later graded it good.Benefits of the Hadith: It is understood that various words and forms of supplication at the time of slaughtering the sacrificial animal are established from authentic Prophetic hadiths, and these are:
Translation: In the name of Allah and Allah is the Greatest.
Translation: In the name of Allah and Allah is the Greatest, O Allah! This is from Your bounty and for You.
Translation: In the name of Allah and Allah is the Greatest, O Allah! Accept it on behalf of so-and-so.
Translation: In the name of Allah and Allah is the Greatest, O Allah! This is from Your bounty and for You, O Allah! Accept it on behalf of so-and-so.
Explanation of the Hadith: If the supplication (اللهم تقبل من ) (O Allah! Accept it on behalf of so-and-so) is recited, then after (من ) the name of the person on whose behalf the sacrifice is being offered should be mentioned. And if the sacrifice is being offered on behalf of that person and all his household members, then it should be recited as: (O Allah! Accept it on behalf of so-and-so and his household). And if a person is offering the sacrifice on his own behalf, he should recite these words as: (O Allah! Accept it on my behalf). And if someone is offering the sacrifice on his own behalf and on behalf of his family, then he should recite: (O Allah! Accept it on my behalf and on behalf of my household). For details, see the research on the supplication of sacrifice ( إني وجهت وجهي للذي - الخ ) by Sheikh Kifayatullah Sanabli.
Summary: It is preferable to slaughter the sacrificial animal with one's own hand, and if a person has another person slaughter the sacrificial animal, it is permissible. Every person can slaughter the sacrificial animal with their own hand while saying
