The rulings on marriage for the sake of renouncing the world, marrying two related women simultaneously, and the marriage of a slave

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal Nawaahi, which was translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamaat o Mamnooat.

Prohibition of Not Marrying for the Sake of Renouncing the World

① Sayyiduna Saad bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyiduna Uthman bin Maz'oon (may Allah be pleased with him) intended not to marry for the sake of renouncing the world (Tabattul), but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade him. If the Prophet (peace be upon him) had permitted him, we would have become eunuchs.

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samrah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade renouncing the world (by not marrying).
Adding in one narration, Sayyiduna Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited this verse:
﴿وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً﴾
"And indeed We sent before you many messengers and assigned to them wives and descendants."

Prohibition of Marrying a Paternal Aunt and Niece or Maternal Aunt and Niece Simultaneously

① Sayyidina Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
لا تجمع بين المرأة وعمتها ، ولا بين المرأة وخالتها
“A woman cannot be married simultaneously in the presence of her paternal aunt (i.e., paternal aunt and niece) and a woman cannot be married simultaneously in the presence of her maternal aunt (i.e., maternal aunt and niece).”

It is Forbidden for a Slave to Marry Without the Permission of His Master

① It is narrated from Sayyidina Jabir (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
أيما عبد تزوج بغير إذن مواليه فهو عاهر
“Any slave who marries without the permission of his master is a fornicator.”
