The reward for the death of a person who has set out with the intention of performing Hajj or Umrah in the light of the Quran and Hadith

The Reward for One Who Dies While Intending to Perform Hajj or Umrah​

Allah Almighty says:
﴿وَمَن يَخْرُجْ مِن بَيْتِهِ مُهَاجِرًا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ يُدْرِكْهُ الْمَوْتُ فَقَدْ وَقَعَ أَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا﴾
"And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him, his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful."

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once a man was standing by the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a mount, when he fell from his mount, broke his neck, and died. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Give him a bath with water and leaves of berry, and shroud him in those two cloths. Do not cover his head nor apply perfume to him. On the Day of Resurrection, he will rise saying the Talbiyah (لبيك اللهم لبيك)."
