The Reward for Protecting the Honor of a Muslim​


عن أسماء بنت يزيد رضي الله عنها قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من ذب عن عرض أخيه بالغيبة، كان حقا على الله أن يعتقه من النار
Sayyida Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) says, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever removes evil from the honor of his brother in his absence, Allah has the right to free him from the fire."

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever defends the honor of his brother, Allah will remove the fire of Hell from his face on the Day of Judgment."
