سبب عداوۃ الکفار للمسلمین
The real reason for the enmity of disbelievers towards Muslims is the Muslims' belief in Allah and His revealed teachings.
[قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ ہَلۡ تَنۡقِمُوۡنَ مِنَّاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰہِ وَ مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡنَا وَ مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ۙ وَ اَنَّ اَکۡثَرَکُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ] O Muhammad! Say to them, O People of the Book! The only reason you hold enmity against us is that we believe in Allah and in the revelation that has been sent down to us, and that which was sent down before, but most of you are defiantly disobedient.

Pharaoh wanted to kill our master Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, only because he believed in Allah.
[وَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مُّؤۡمِنٌ ٭ۖ مِّنۡ اٰلِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ یَکۡتُمُ اِیۡمَانَہٗۤ اَتَقۡتُلُوۡنَ رَجُلًا اَنۡ یَّقُوۡلَ رَبِّیَ اللّٰہُ وَ قَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ مِنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ؕ وَ اِنۡ یَّکُ کَاذِبًا فَعَلَیۡہِ کَذِبُہٗ ۚ وَ اِنۡ یَّکُ صَادِقًا یُّصِبۡکُمۡ بَعۡضُ الَّذِیۡ یَعِدُکُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ ہُوَ مُسۡرِفٌ کَذَّابٌ] Among the people of Pharaoh was a believer who concealed his faith and said, "Will you kill a man merely because he says, 'My Lord is Allah,' while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is lying, then the burden of his lie will be upon him; but if he is truthful, then some of the punishment you fear will surely befall you." Indeed, Allah does not guide the transgressing liars.

The People of the Trench burned Muslims in the fire merely because they believed in the Oneness of Allah.
[وَّ ہُمۡ عَلٰی مَا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ بِالۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ شُہُوۡدٌ ؕ]،[وَ مَا نَقَمُوۡا مِنۡہُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ الۡعَزِیۡزِ الۡحَمِیۡدِ] Their enmity towards the believers was for no other reason than that they believed in the One Allah, who is Mighty and Praiseworthy in Himself, the Owner of the earth and the heavens, and Allah is the Overseer of all things.

The disbelievers exiled the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the believers merely because they believed in their Allah.
[یُخۡرِجُوۡنَ الرَّسُوۡلَ وَ اِیَّاکُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ رَبِّکُمۡ ؕ]
The disbelievers exiled the Prophet and you only because you believed in your Lord Allah.

The disbelievers wanted to kill the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ only because you believed in Allah Almighty.
[عن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللٰه عنہ قال: بینا النبی صلی اللٰه علیہ وسلم یصلی فی حجر الکعبۃ اذ اقبل عقبۃ ابن ابی معیط فوضع ثوبہٗ فی عنقہٖ فخنقہٗ خنقا شدیدا فاقبل ابوبکر رضی اللٰه عنہ حتٰی اخذ بمنکبہٖ و دفعہٗ عن النبی صلی اللٰه علیہ وسلم قال أ تقتلون رجلا ان یقول ربی اللٰہ]
Sayyiduna Amr ibn Al-As رضي الله عنه says that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was praying at Hatim when Aqbah ibn Abi Mu'ayt came forward and threw his cloak over the Prophet’s neck and started choking him forcefully. At that moment, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq رضي الله عنه came and said, "Do you want to kill a man just because he says, 'My Lord is Allah'?" This is narrated by Bukhari.
