This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mosuli's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما states that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade taking compensation for mating.

② Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri رضي الله عنه states that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade taking wages for mating a male with a female.

① Uhnuf bin Qais, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that I was with some members of the Quraysh when Sayyiduna Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, passed by saying: Give glad tidings to those who hoard wealth that a mark will be placed on their backs which will come out from their sides, and give glad tidings to those who sit on their cushions that a mark will be placed on their foreheads which will come out from them. The narrator says, then he went a little further and sat down. The narrator says, I asked, who is this? They said: Sayyiduna Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him. He says, I went to him and said: What was I hearing from you a little while ago? He said: I have said exactly what I heard from their Prophet, peace be upon him. He says, I asked: What do you say about this wealth? He said: Take it because today it is a means of support and livelihood, but when it becomes the price of your religion, then leave it.

① Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
إن الله يرضى لكم ثلاثا ويكره لكم ثلاثا ، فيرضى لكم أن تعبدوه ولا تشركوا به شيئا ، وأن تعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا ، ويكره لكم قيل وقال ، وكثرة السؤال ، وإضاعة المال
"Allah likes three things for you and dislikes three things. He likes that you worship Him and do not associate anyone with Him. And that you all hold firmly to the rope of Allah and do not become divided. And He dislikes that you spread hearsay, excessive questioning, and wasting wealth."

① Sayyiduna Alqama bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade breaking the commonly used Muslim currency without reason.
