A Mujahid wounded in the battlefield of Jihad will appear on the Day of Judgment with the very wounds he received in the battlefield of Jihad
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah guarantees the one who goes out in His cause (Jihad) and whose motivation for going out is Jihad in My cause, belief in Me, and confirmation of My Messengers. Such a person is under My guarantee; either I will admit him to Paradise (or he will become a martyr), or I will return him to his home with reward or spoils of war. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace be upon him), no wound is inflicted in the way of Allah except that it will appear on the Day of Resurrection in the same form as it was in this world, its color will be like blood, and its fragrance will be like musk. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace be upon him), if it were not difficult for the Muslims, I would not remain behind any army fighting in the way of Allah. I do not have the means to provide them with mounts, nor does each one of them have the means, and it is difficult for the Muslims not to follow me. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace be upon him), I wish to fight in the way of Allah, then be killed, then brought back to life, then killed again, then brought back to life, then killed again."

Some Derived Benefits
Several points are mentioned in this hadith:
➊ The honor and status of a mujahid who fights in the way of Allah with sincere intention is that he is under Allah’s protection; in every situation, there is only benefit for him. If he is killed while fighting, Paradise is obligatory for him; if he returns home alive, he comes back with reward and spoils (or just reward if no spoils are obtained).
➋ If his body is wounded while fighting in the way of Allah, then this wound of the mujahid also holds great value and status with Allah. When the Day of Judgment arrives and all people gather in the field of resurrection, the wounded mujahid will be in such a state that blood will be flowing from his wound. This blood will appear to be blood in color, but its fragrance will be like the scent of musk.
➌ Jihad is such an important and virtuous act that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wished that he would not be left behind from any battle. Not only that, but he wished to be martyred while fighting, then Allah would bring him back to life, and then he would be martyred again while fighting.
➍ Permissibility of swearing an oath: From the mentioned hadith, the permissibility of swearing an oath on a good and desirable act is understood, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ repeatedly swore oaths.
➎ Desire for a beloved deed: From the mentioned hadith, the permissibility of desiring a beloved deed is obtained, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ desired martyrdom in the way of Allah, and that too repeatedly.
