The meat of halal animals that is lost or wasted is halal, whether it is from sacrificial animals or regular slaughter

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Zubair Ali Zai Rahimahullah's Book on the Rules and Issues of Qurbani.

Ojhri is Halal

Question:

Is Ojhri in general, and specifically the Ojhri of the sacrificial animal, halal or haram? Clarification is requested. (Irshad Allah Aman, Sheikhupura city)
Reference: For more details on this issue, see the same book (p. 85) [Mu'adh]

Answer:

If halal animals such as cows, buffaloes, camels, goats, and sheep are slaughtered according to Shariah conditions, then their meat is halal, whether it is for sacrifice or regular slaughter, and calling it haram is incorrect. Regarding sacrificial animals, Allah Almighty says:
فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ
Then when they have fallen down (i.e., have been slaughtered), eat from them and feed the poor and needy.
Reference: (Al-Hajj: 36)

From the generality of this verse, it is established that the meat of the slaughtered animal, its offal, liver, and heart, etc., are halal. Here, as a benefit, it is stated that whatever is proven haram by the Quran, Hadith, consensus, or the practices of the pious predecessors is excluded from the generality of this verse. For example:
➊ That thing which the general believers consider impure and filthy, according to the verse ويحرم عليهم الخبائث
Reference: (Al-A'raf: 157)
, is considered makruh tahrimi (prohibitively disliked) or tanzeeh (disliked).
The impurity of offal is neither proven by the practices of the pious predecessors nor was it considered filthy or disliked by the general believers.
➋ That thing which is obtained by theft or usurpation. For example, if a person's goat is stolen and slaughtered, its meat is not halal for Muslims unless the original owner permits it.
Reference: For more details, see the monthly magazine Ishaat al-Hadith Hazro (Issue 18, page 9) [Mu'adh]

➌ The halal animal whose food itself is filthy or impure (i.e., a predatory animal), its meat is not permissible to eat.
Reference: See Mishkat al-Masabih (4126 606/2, said by Abi Bimillah Hasan) [Mu'adh]

➍ The meat of a living animal that has been cut is haram, etc.
Reference: See Sunan al-Tirmidhi (1380, said by Abi Dulillah, its chain is Hasan) Mishkat al-Masabih (4095) [Mu'adh]

Now, a few benefits related to the topic are presented:
➊ The Quranic exegete Imam Mujahid, a Tabi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates:
إن النبى صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم كره من الشاة سبعا: المثانة والمرارة والغدة والذكر والحياء والأنثيين
Indeed, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, considered seven parts of the goat to be disliked: the bladder, the penis, the gland (a lump of meat that appears due to disease, etc.), the reproductive organ, the hoof, the genital area of animals with tails, and both testicles.
Reference: (Kitab al-Marasil by Abi Dawood: 460, Musannif Abdul Razzaq 1535/4, second version 880/2, Al-Sunan al-Kubra by Al-Bayhaqi 7/10)

This narration is weak for two reasons:
First: Wasil ibn Abi Jamil is considered weak by the majority of hadith scholars. For example, Imam Dar Qutni said: ”وواصل هذا ضعيف“ and this Wasil is weak.
Reference: (Sunan Dar Qutni 3059 677/3)

Second: The narration is mursal (i.e., interrupted), and mursal narrations are considered weak by the majority of hadith scholars.
The mentioned narration was reported by Umar ibn Musa ibn Wajih from Wasil ibn Abi Jamil from Mujahid from Ibn Abbas as a marfu' (attributed to the Prophet), but Umar ibn Musa ibn Wajih was a liar and a denier of hadith narrator.
Reference: (See Lisan al-Mizan 332/4-333, second version 24175)

Therefore, this narration is fabricated.
There is also a supporting narration of this hadith in Mu'jam al-Awsat by Al-Tabarani.
Reference: (217/10 hadith 19476, Majma' al-Zawa'id 316/5)

In its chain, Biha al-Maliki was a thief.
Reference: (See Taqreeb al-Tahdheeb: 7591)

His teacher Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Salmah refers to Abdul Rahman ibn Zaid ibn Aslam, and his narrations from his father are fabricated, and this narration is also from his father, so it is fabricated.
Ala al-Din Abu Bakr ibn Mas'ud al-Kasani Hanafi
Reference: (died 587 AH)
narrated from Imam Abu Hanifa without any chain that blood is haram and he considered six things to be disliked.
Reference: (Bada'i' al-Sana'i' 675)

This narration is weak and rejected due to the lack of a reliable, authentic, or good chain, and the six things refer to the six things mentioned in the weak hadith besides blood, which was discussed a little earlier.

Summary of Research:

The offal of a halal animal slaughtered according to Shariah conditions is halal, provided it is thoroughly washed, cleaned well, cooked properly, and no trace of any impurity remains.
