This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnooat.
① Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates:
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pay great attention to the two rak'ahs of Sunnah of Fajr among the Nawafil.

② Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) also narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
ركعتا الفجر خير من الدنيا وما فيها
"The two rak'ahs of Fajr are better than this world and all that is in it."

① Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates, I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم before and after Dhuhr.

② Sayyida Umm Habiba رضي الله عنها narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من حافظ على أربع ركعات قبل الظهر وأربع بعدها حرمه الله على النار
"Whoever guards four rak'ahs before and after Dhuhr, Allah has forbidden the fire of Hell upon him."

③ It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha رضي الله عنها that when the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم did not pray four rak'ahs before Dhuhr, he would then pray them after Dhuhr.

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
رحم الله امرأ صلى قبل العصر أربعا
"May Allah have mercy on the person who prays four rak'ahs before Asr."

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to pray two rak'ahs before Asr.

① Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه narrates, when we were in Madinah, whenever the Mu'adhdhin gave the Adhan for Maghrib prayer, the Companions رضي الله عنهم would quickly move towards the pillars of the mosque and pray two rak'ahs. So much so that if a stranger came to the mosque, seeing them praying these two rak'ahs repeatedly, he would think that the prayer had already been performed.

② Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates, I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم in his house after Maghrib.

① Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Maghfal رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
بين كل أذانين صلاة ، بين كل أذانين صلاة. قال فى الثالثة لمن شاء
"There is prayer between the two Adhans (Adhan and Iqamah), there is prayer between the two Adhans." He صلى الله عليه وسلم said for the third time: "Whoever wishes, for him."

② Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates, I prayed two Rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم before Dhuhr and two Rak'ahs after Dhuhr. After Jumu'ah, after Maghrib, and after Isha, I prayed two Rak'ahs each.
