The Hanafi Jurisprudence and the Hadith "Lawlak"

It is mentioned in the reputable books of the Hanafi school:

"In Jawahir al-Fatawa: Is it permissible to say: 'If it were not for our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Allah would not have created Adam?' The response is: This is something preachers mention on the pulpits with the intention of exalting our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). It is better to refrain from such statements because, although the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) holds a very high status and rank with Allah, every prophet (peace be upon them all) also possesses a unique status and rank. Each prophet has a special attribute that is not found in others. Thus, every prophet has an independent position."

(Al-Fatawa al-Tatar Khaniyah, 5/485)

Dear readers, it has become clear that, along with reason and revelation, the Hanafi jurisprudence also opposes these narrations. Despite this, some individuals claim to follow the Hanafi school and continue to narrate these false traditions from the pulpit to sustain their means of livelihood and to embellish their sources of income. We pray that Allah grants us the guidance to follow the correct path. Ameen!
