Will the Dajjal claim divinity?
It is narrated from Hazrat Samrah bin Jundub (RA) that the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) said: By Allah, the Day of Judgment will not be established until thirty liars appear, and the last among them will be the one-eyed Dajjal, whose left eye will be defective. He will be under the false delusion that he is Allah, may Allah protect us from that. Therefore, whoever believes in him, confirms him, and obeys him, none of his previous righteous deeds will benefit him. And whoever disbelieves in him and denies him will not be held accountable for his deeds at all.

Abu Qulabah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a companion of the Prophet (PBUH) narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: O companions! After you, a lying misleader Dajjal will appear whose head will be bald from the back. He will say, "I am your Lord!" Whoever says, "You are a liar, you are not our Lord; our Lord is Allah, in Him we trust, to Him we turn, and from You we seek refuge with Allah," that Dajjal will not be able to harm him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Nawas bin Samaan (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) mentioned the Dajjal one morning... The Dajjal will come to a people and invite them to believe in his lordship, and those people will believe in him and obey his commands. The Dajjal will command the sky to send down rain, and it will rain; he will command the earth to produce vegetation, and it will grow.

Hazrat Abu Saeed (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) once narrated a long hadith about the Dajjal. It included that a man will be captured by the soldiers of the Dajjal and they will ask him, "Do you believe in our Lord?" He will deny. Then those soldiers will take him to the Dajjal, and the Dajjal will ask him, "Do you believe in me?" The man will reply, "I testify that you are indeed the lying Dajjal about whom the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) narrated to us." The Dajjal will say to the people, "What do you think if I kill him and then bring him back to life, will there be any doubt about my lordship?" The people will say, "No." Then the Dajjal will kill him and bring him back to life. When he revives, he will say, "By Allah! I am now even more certain that you are the Dajjal." The Dajjal will want to kill him again but will not be able to.
