Where is the time for leisure! The work is still remaining
The completion of the light of Tawheed is still remaining
All the good deeds of the polytheist are destroyed and all their actions are wasted. As Allah Almighty mentioned the noble group of Prophets, our master Ibrahim, Ishaq, Yaqub, Nuh, Dawud, Sulaiman, Ayyub, Yusuf, Musa, Harun, Zakariya, Yahya, Ismail, Yasa, Yunus, and Lut, peace be upon them, and then said:
﴿وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ﴾
"And if those people had associated others with Allah, then their deeds would have become worthless."

It was even revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, that you and all the Prophets before you were informed through revelation that if you associate partners with Allah, all your deeds will be wasted. And you will be among those who suffer a real loss on the Day of Judgment:
﴿وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ﴾
"And it has already been revealed to you and to those before you, if you associate others with Allah, your deeds will become worthless, and you will surely be among the losers."

Because Paradise is forbidden for the polytheist. Allah Almighty says:
﴿إِنَّهُ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ﴾
"Indeed, whoever associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are no helpers for the wrongdoers."

There will be no forgiveness for the polytheist. As Allah Almighty said:
﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ﴾
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills."

The polytheist will remain in Hell forever. Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
”جاء أعرابي إلى النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله ما الموجبتان؟ فقال: من مات لا يشرك بالله شيئا دخل الجنة ومن مات يشرك به شيئا دخل النار.“
"A villager companion came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and asked: O Messenger of Allah! What are the two obligatory things? The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: Whoever dies in a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah will enter Paradise. And whoever dies in a state that he associates others with Allah will enter Hell."

Allah Almighty abandons the polytheist alone; the polytheist does not have the companionship of Allah. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say:
”قال الله تعالى: أنا أغنى الشركاء عن الشرك من عمل عملا أشرك فيه معي غيري تركته وشركه.“
"Allah says: I am the most self-sufficient and free of need above all partners. Whoever does a deed in which he associates others with Me besides Me, I will leave him with his shirk (association)."

There will be no intercession for the polytheist. Thus, in Sahih Bukhari, the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, mentioned the great intercession and said:
”أسعد الناس بشفاعتي يوم القيامة من قال لا إله إلا الله خالصا من قلبه.“
"On the Day of Judgment, the one who will benefit from my intercession is the one who sincerely and wholeheartedly says لا إله إلا الله."
