Avoid Lies and Hypocrisy
❀ Sayyiduna Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) says:
إن المنافق ليصلي فيكذبه الله عز وجل ويصوم فيكذبه الله عز وجل ويتصدق فيكذبه الله ويجاهد فيكذبه الله ويقاتل فيقتل فيجعل فى النار
Indeed, a hypocrite prays, but Allah rejects him; he fasts, but Allah does not accept it; he gives charity, but Allah does not accept it; he fights in jihad, but Allah does not accept it; and he fights until he is killed, then Allah admits him to Hell.

It is understood that a servant should always live in obedience to Allah and His Messenger, avoiding lies and hypocrisy at all times.
