This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man came to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) and said: So-and-so person sends you greetings. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: I have come to know that he denies predestination. If indeed he has adopted this belief, then do not convey his greetings to me. Because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
يكون فى هذه الأمة أو فى أمتي الشك منه خسف ومسخ وقذف وذلك فى المكذبين بالقدر
“In this Ummah, or he said in my Ummah, there will continue to be sinking of the earth, transformation of faces, and stones raining down, and this will be upon those who deny predestination.”

② Sayyiduna Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لكل أمة مجوس، ومجوس هذه الأمة الذين يقولون: لا قدر، من مات منهم فلا تشهدوا جنازته، ومن مرض منهم فلا تعودوهم، وهم شيعة الدجال، وحق على الله أن يلحقهم بالدجال
“Every nation has some Magians, and the Magians of this Ummah are those who say: predestination is nothing. Whoever dies among them, do not participate in his funeral, and whoever falls ill among them, do not visit him. They are the companions of the Dajjal, and it is the right of Allah that He will join them with the Dajjal.”

① Sayyiduna Yahya bin Umar رضي الله عنه narrates, I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما, O Abu Abdur Rahman (this was the kunya of Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله عنهما)! There are some people among us who recite the Quran and claim that predestination (Qadr) does not exist. And this thought has just recently emerged. He said:
"When you meet those people, tell them that I am disassociated from them, and they are disassociated from me."

② Sayyiduna Abu Burda رضي الله عنه narrates, Sayyiduna Abu Musa رضي الله عنه suffered such severe pain that he lost consciousness, and at that time his head was in the lap of a woman from his household. Then a woman from his family screamed. At that moment, he could not say anything to her, but when he regained consciousness, he said: "I disassociate myself from that which the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم disassociated himself from, because the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم disassociated himself from those who scream and wail at calamities, shave their heads, and tear their garments."
