This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mosuli's Arabic book Al-Awamir wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Salmah bin Akwa رضی اللہ عنہ narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم permitted Nikah Mut'ah (temporary marriage for a specified period) during the year of Atas, then forbade us from it forever.

② Rabi' bin Sabrah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade Nikah Mut'ah and said:
إنها حرام من يومكم هذا إلى يوم القيامة ، ومن كان أعطى شيئا فلا يأخذه
"This is forbidden from this day until the Day of Resurrection. If anyone has given something, he should not take it back."

③ It is narrated from Muhammad bin Hanfiyah that Sayyiduna Ali رضی اللہ عنہ said to Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade temporary marriage with women and eating the meat of domesticated donkeys during the Battle of Khaybar.

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cursed both the one who performs halala and the one for whom halala is performed.

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لعن الله المحلل والمحلل له
"Allah Almighty has cursed both the one who performs halala and the one for whom halala is performed."

① Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) states that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لا تباشر المرأة المرأة فتنعتها لزوجها كأنه ينظر إليها
"A woman should not praise another woman to her husband as if he is looking at her (the woman being praised)."
