Qur'anic Supplications
[رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَ لِاِخۡوَانِنَا الَّذِیۡنَ سَبَقُوۡنَا بِالۡاِیۡمَانِ وَ لَا تَجۡعَلۡ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّکَ رَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ]
O our Lord! Forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith. And put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.

[رَبَّنَا ہَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ اَزۡوَاجِنَا وَ ذُرِّیّٰتِنَا قُرَّۃَ اَعۡیُنٍ وَّ اجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ اِمَامًا]
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.

[رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَ عَلٰی وَالِدَیَّ وَ اَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرۡضٰىہُ وَ اَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ بِرَحۡمَتِکَ فِیۡ عِبَادِکَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ]
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness pleasing to You. And admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants.

[رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا فِتۡنَۃً لِّلۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ]،[وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحۡمَتِکَ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ]
[Our Lord, do not place us in trial from the wrongdoing people], [and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people].

[رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا وَ اِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَ تَرۡحَمۡنَا لَنَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ]
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.

[رَبَّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوۡبَنَا وَ کَفِّرۡ عَنَّا سَیِّاٰتِنَا وَ تَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الۡاَبۡرَارِ]
O our Lord! Forgive our sins and remove our evil deeds and cause us to die among the righteous.

[رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوۡبَنَا وَ اِسۡرَافَنَا فِیۡۤ اَمۡرِنَا وَ ثَبِّتۡ اَقۡدَامَنَا وَ انۡصُرۡنَا عَلَی الۡقَوۡمِ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ]
O our Lord! Forgive our sins and excesses in our affairs, and keep us firm and help us against the disbelievers.

[رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَ ارۡحَمۡ وَ اَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ]
O my Lord! Forgive me, have mercy on me, and You are the best of the merciful.

[رَبِّ اشۡرَحۡ لِیۡ صَدۡرِیۡ]،[ وَ یَسِّرۡ لِیۡۤ اَمۡرِیۡ]،[وَ احۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَۃً مِّنۡ لِّسَانِیۡ]،[یَفۡقَہُوۡا قَوۡلِیۡ]
[O my Lord! Expand for me my breast], [and make my task easy for me], [and loosen the knot from my tongue], [so that they may understand my speech].

[رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَاۤ اِنۡ نَّسِیۡنَاۤ اَوۡ اَخۡطَاۡنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَیۡنَاۤ اِصۡرًا کَمَا حَمَلۡتَہٗ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَۃَ لَنَا بِہٖ ۚ وَ اعۡفُ عَنَّا ٝ وَ اغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ٝ وَ ارۡحَمۡنَا ٝ اَنۡتَ مَوۡلٰىنَا فَانۡصُرۡنَا عَلَی الۡقَوۡمِ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ]
O our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. O our Lord! Do not place on us a burden like that which You placed on those before us. O our Lord! Do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.

[رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوۡبَنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ ہَدَیۡتَنَا وَ ہَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ رَحۡمَۃً ۚ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَہَّابُ]
O our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.

[رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً وَّ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ]
O our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.

[لَّاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡتَ سُبۡحٰنَکَ اِنِّیۡ کُنۡتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ]
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.

[رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مُقِیۡمَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَ مِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ رَبَّنَا وَ تَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ]،[رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَ لِوَالِدَیَّ وَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ یَوۡمَ یَقُوۡمُ الۡحِسَابُ]
[O my Lord! Make me and my offspring those who establish prayer. O our Lord! Accept my supplication], [O our Lord! Forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day the account is established].

[رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیٰنِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا]
O my Lord! Have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small.
Reference: Bani Isra'il:24
[قُلۡ رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ مِنۡ ہَمَزٰتِ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ]،[ وَ اَعُوۡذُبِکَ رَبِّ اَنۡ یَّحۡضُرُوۡنِ]
[O my Lord! I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils], [and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me].

[اللّٰہُمَّ مٰلِکَ الۡمُلۡکِ تُؤۡتِی الۡمُلۡکَ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَ تَنۡزِعُ الۡمُلۡکَ مِمَّنۡ تَشَآءُ ۫ وَ تُعِزُّ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَ تُذِلُّ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ ؕ بِیَدِکَ الۡخَیۡرُ ؕ اِنَّکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ قَدِیۡرٌ]
O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty! You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.

[رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِیۡ فَرۡدًا وَّ اَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡوٰرِثِیۡنَ]
O my Lord! Do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors.

Supplications for Forgiveness of Sins:
[اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ]
O Allah! You are my Lord, none is worthy of worship except You, You created me, I am Your servant, I will try my best to uphold Your promise and covenant. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my deeds, and I acknowledge the blessings You have bestowed upon me and also confess my sins. Forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

[ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي، وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي كُلِّهِ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطَايَايَ، وَعَمْدِي، وَجَهْلِي، وَهَزْلِي وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ، وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ، وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ، وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ]
O my Lord! Forgive my mistakes, my ignorance, all the excesses in my affairs, and the sins that You know better than I do. O Allah! Whether the sins were committed out of forgetfulness, or deliberately, or in jest, or knowingly, in short, all of these were from me, forgive them all. O Allah! Forgive all my past and future, hidden and open sins. You are the One who causes to advance [in obedience] and the One who causes to lag behind [in obedience], and You are capable of all things.

[رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ]
O my Lord! Forgive my sins and accept my repentance, surely You are the One who accepts repentance and forgives.
Reference: Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah: Hadith: 556], [Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 3814
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ، أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي]
O Allah! I ask You by Your mercy which encompasses all things that You forgive me.

Supplication for salvation from the fire of Hell and seeking Paradise Al-Firdaus:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ]
O Allah! I ask You for Paradise and whatever deeds lead to it, and I seek refuge in You from the fire of Hell.

Supplications at times of grief and distress:
[اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو، فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ]
O Allah! I hope for Your mercy, so do not leave me to myself even for a moment, and rectify all my affairs; there is no deity worthy of worship except You.

[يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ]
O Ever-Living and Sustainer of all things! I seek help through Your mercy alone.

[لإِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ]
O Allah! There is no true deity except You, and You are pure; I am the one at fault.

Prayer for Repayment of Debt:
[اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ]
O Allah! Grant me lawful sustenance that is sufficient for me, keep me away from the unlawful, and by Your grace and mercy, make me independent of all others besides You.

Prayer for Relief from Grief, Laziness, Stinginess, and Repayment of Debt:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ، وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ، وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from distress, grief, helplessness, laziness, stinginess, cowardice, the burden of debt, and the dominance of people.

Prayer for Staying Pure:
[اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ ذَنْبَهُ، وَطَهِّرْ قَلْبَهُ، وَحَصِّنْ فَرْجَهُ]
O Allah! Forgive my sins, cleanse the impurities of my heart, and protect my private parts.
Reference: Musnad Ahmad: 257/5], [Al-Mu'jam al-Kabir al-Tabarani, Hadith: 7679
Prayer for Protection from Leprosy, Leprosy, and All Evil Diseases:
[ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ، وَالْجُنُونِ، وَالْجُذَامِ، وَمِنْ سَيِّئْ الْأَسْقَامِ]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from leprosy, leprosy, madness, and dangerous diseases.

Prayer for Protection from the Evil of Jinn and Devils:
[أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، وَذَرَأَ وَبَرَأَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ، يَا رَحْمَنُ]
I seek refuge in Allah Almighty with His complete words, by which no good or evil can transgress. From the evil of everything He has created and spread, and from the evil of everything that descends from the sky and ascends to the sky, and that which enters the earth and comes out of the earth, and from all the trials of day and night, and from the evil of what comes at night except that which brings goodness, O Most Merciful!

[أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ]
I seek refuge in Allah Almighty with His perfect words from His anger and displeasure, from the evil of His servants and the whispers of the devils, and from their presence near me.

Prayer for a good end and protection from disgrace in this world and the Hereafter:
[اللَّهُمَّ أَحْسِنْ عَاقِبَتِنَا فِي الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا وَأَجِرْنَا مِنْ خِزْيِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ]
O Allah! Make our end good in all matters. And protect us from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter.

Prayer for the protection of Islam, and safety from enemies and enviers:
[اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِالْإِسْلَامِ قَائِمًا، وَاحْفَظْنِي بِالْإِسْلَامِ قَاعِدًا، وَاحْفَظْنِي بِالْإِسْلَامِ رَاقِدًا، وَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوًّا حَاسِدًا، وَاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ خَزَائِنُهُ بِيَدِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ خَزَائِنُهُ بِيَدِكَ]
O Allah! Keep me steadfast in Islam whether I am standing, sitting, or resting, and do not let my enemies and enviers mock me. O Allah! I ask You for every kind of good whose treasures are in Your hands, and I seek refuge from every kind of evil whose treasures are in Your hands.

[اللَّهُمَّ اقْسِمْ لَنَا مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ مَا يَحُولُ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ مَعَاصِيكَ، وَمِنْ طَاعَتِكَ مَا تُبَلِّغُنَا بِهِ جَنَّتَكَ، وَمِنَ الْيَقِينِ مَا تُهَوِّنُ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا مُصِيبَاتِ الدُّنْيَا، وَمَتِّعْنَا بِأَسْمَاعِنَا وَأَبْصَارِنَا وَقُوَّتِنَا مَا أَحْيَيْتَنَا وَاجْعَلْهُ الْوَارِثَ مِنَّا، وَاجْعَلْ ثَأْرَنَا عَلَى مَنْ ظَلَمَنَا، وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى مَنْ عَادَانَا، وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مُصِيبَتَنَا فِي دِينِنَا، وَلَا تَجْعَلِ الدُّنْيَا أَكْبَرَ هَمِّنَا وَلَا مَبْلَغَ عِلْمِنَا، وَلَا تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيْنَا مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُنَا ]
O Allah! Grant us such a portion of fear of You that stands between us and disobedience to You. And bestow upon us such obedience through which You will lead us to Paradise. And grant us such strength of faith that makes the hardships of this world easy for us. And throughout our lives, grant us the ability to properly benefit from our ears, eyes, and bodily strength, and after death, keep the blessings of this benefit ongoing. And whoever oppresses us, take revenge from them and help us against our enemies. Do not test us regarding our religion. And do not make this world the greatest goal and ultimate destination of our knowledge. And do not impose upon us people who show no mercy to us.

Supplication for protection from the evil of one's bad deeds:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of every deed I have done and from every deed I have not yet done.

Supplication for Protection from the Decline of Blessings and Well-being and from the Displeasure of the Lord:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the loss of Your blessings, the departure of the well-being You have granted [the coming of calamity], Your sudden grasp, and every kind of Your displeasure.

Supplication for Protection from Destructive Calamities:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowledge that brings no benefit, a heart devoid of humility, a worldly greedy self, and a supplication that is not accepted.

Supplication for Protection from Poverty, Neediness, and Helplessness:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْقِلَّةِ وَالذِّلَّةِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from poverty and hardship, scarcity of wealth, and being undervalued, so that I may not oppress anyone or desire to do so, nor may anyone oppress me.

Supplication for the Protection of the Vital Organs and Victory over the Oppressor:
[اللَّهُمَّ مَتِّعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي, وَاجْعَلْهُمَا الْوَارِثَ مِنِّي, وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ يَظْلِمُنِي, وَخُذْ مِنْهُ بِثَأْرِي]
O Allah! Benefit me through my hearing and sight, and continue their blessings upon me even after me. Help me against those who oppress me and take revenge on my behalf.

Supplication for Seeking Guidance and Right Direction:
[اللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنِي رُشْدِي وَأَعِذْنِي مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي]
O Allah! Grant me guidance and righteousness and protect me from the evil of my own self.
Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3483
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى]
O Allah! I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency [not being in need of others].

Supplication for the excellence of this world, the Hereafter, and life:
[اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ]
O Allah! Improve my religion for me, which is the safeguard of my affairs. And improve my worldly life for me, in which is my provision and livelihood. And improve my Hereafter for me, to which I shall return. And make life for me an increase in good and righteousness, and make death a relief for me from every evil.

[اللَّهُمَّ بِعِلْمِكَ الْغَيْبَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ أَحْيِنِي مَا عَلِمْتَ الْحَيَاةَ خَيْرًا لِي, وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا عَلِمْتَ الْوَفَاةَ خَيْرًا لِي, اللَّهُمَّ وَأَسْأَلُكَ خَشْيَتَكَ فِي الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ كَلِمَةَ الْحَقِّ فِي الرِّضَا وَالْغَضَبِ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ الْقَصْدَ فِي الْفَقْرِ وَالْغِنَى, وَأَسْأَلُكَ نَعِيمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ قُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ الرِّضَاءَ بَعْدَ الْقَضَاءِ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ بَرْدَ الْعَيْشِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ لَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ وَالشَّوْقَ إِلَى لِقَائِكَ فِي غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَلَا فِتْنَةٍ مُضِلَّةٍ, اللَّهُمَّ زَيِّنَّا بِزِينَةِ الْإِيمَانِ وَاجْعَلْنَا هُدَاةً مُهْتَدِينَ]
O Allah! Keep me alive by Your knowledge of the unseen and by Your power over creation as long as it is better for me in Your knowledge to remain alive. And when in Your knowledge my death is better, then take me away from this world. O Allah! I seek Your fear in both public and private. And I ask for the ability to speak the truth in happiness and unhappiness. And I ask You for moderation in both poverty and wealth. And I seek from You eternal blessings and everlasting coolness for my eyes. And I ask You to grant me the ability to be content with divine decree and destiny. And I ask You for comfort and ease in the life after death. And O Allah! I seek from You the pleasure of seeing Your radiant face and the desire to meet You without any painful affliction or misleading trial. O Allah! Adorn us with the beauty of faith and make us those who invite to guidance and are themselves guided.

Supplication for Protection from Untimely Deaths, Calamities, and Afflictions:
[اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ التَّرَدِّى وَالْهَدَمِ وَالْغَرْقِ وَالْحَرَقِ وَأَعُوذُبِكَ أَنْ يَتَخَبَّطَنِيَ الشَّيْطَانُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَأَعُوذُبِكَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مُدْبِرًا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ لَدِيغًا]
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from dying by falling from a height, being crushed under something, drowning in water, and burning in fire. And I seek refuge in You from the time of death being caused by Satan confusing me. And I seek refuge in You from dying while fleeing the battlefield during a fight in Your path. And I seek refuge in You from dying due to the bite of a snake or scorpion.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry, grief, helplessness, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, the hardship of old age, hardness of heart, negligence, poverty, humiliation, disgrace, and destitution (which causes disgrace). And I seek refuge in You from poverty and hunger, disbelief, immorality and wickedness, mutual discord, hypocrisy, false reputation (infamy), and ostentation. And I seek refuge in You from deafness, muteness, blindness, insanity, leprosy, elephantiasis, and every dangerous disease.

Supplication for Concealing Faults and Repaying Debts:

O Allah! Conceal my faults and grant me safety from dangers and pay off my debt.

[اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الْأَرْضِ، وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، فَالِقَ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالْفُرْقَانِ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُونَكَ شَيْءٌ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الْفَقْرِ]
O Allah! Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne, our Lord and the Lord of everything, the one who splits the grain and the kernel, the one who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock is in Your hand. You are the First; there is nothing before You, and You are the Last; there is nothing after You. You are the Manifest, beyond which there is nothing more manifest [because countless evidences point to Your essence], and You are the Hidden [eyes cannot perceive You], before whom there is nothing. Remove my debt and enrich me from poverty.

Prayer to attain the love of Allah:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي وَمِنَ الْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ]
O Allah! I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deeds that will bring me closer to Your love. O Allah! Place Your love in my heart above the love of my life, my family, and (in the heat of summer and the intensity of thirst) the love of cold water.

Prayer for protection from the displeasure of Allah:
[اللَّهُمَّ أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ ، كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ]
O Allah! Through Your pleasure, I seek refuge from Your displeasure, and through Your safety, I seek refuge from Your punishment, and through Your essence, I seek refuge from Your wrath and anger. I cannot count Your praises, You are as You have praised Yourself.

Supplication for seeking goodness and protection from evil:
[اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ وَعَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ]
O Allah! I ask You for every good and blessing that Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked from You. And I seek refuge in You from every evil from which Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sought refuge. And You alone are the One from whom help can be sought. It is Your task to enable us to reach our goals, and the power to turn away from evil and do good is granted by Allah’s help.

Supplication for steadfastness in religion:
[يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ]
O Turner of hearts! Keep my heart firm and steadfast upon my religion.
