❀ Sunnah Supplication for One Afflicted by Magic ❀

❖ Question:
What is the prescribed supplication for someone afflicted by magic?
❖ Answer:
It is narrated from ʿAbdullah ibn ʿAbbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the Prophet ﷺ said:
من عاد مريضا لم يحضر أجله فقال عنده سبع مرات: أسأل الله العظيم رب العرش العظيم أن يشفيك، إلا عافاه الله من ذلك المرض
“Whoever visits a sick person whose appointed time (of death) has not yet come, and says in his presence seven times:
أسأل الله العظيم رب العرش العظيم أن يشفيك
‘I ask Allah, the Almighty, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to cure you,’
Allah will grant him recovery from that illness.”
