Standing up for someone, sitting in the center of the circle, and the prohibition of falsely accusing a believer

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.

It is forbidden for people to stand up for any man​

① Abu Mujaliz Lahqi, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that when Sayyiduna Muawiyah, Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair, and Sayyiduna Ibn Amir, may Allah be pleased with them, came, Sayyiduna Ibn Amir stood up while Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair remained seated. Then Sayyiduna Muawiyah, may Allah be pleased with him, said to Sayyiduna Ibn Amir, may Allah be pleased with him: Sit down, because I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say:
من أحب أن يتمثل له الرجال قياما فليتبوأ مقعده من النار
"Whoever likes that people stand respectfully before him, then he has prepared his place in Hell."

② Sayyiduna Abu Imamah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came leaning on a stick, so we stood up for him, but he said:
لا تقوموا كما يقوم الأعاجم يعظم بعضها بعضا
"Just as I do not stand up for one another out of respect, do not stand up for me."

③ Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that no one was more beloved to him than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, but when he saw the Prophet, he did not stand up for him because he knew that the Prophet disliked it.

Prohibition of Sitting in the Middle of the Circle​

① Abu Mujaliz Lahqi, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that a man sat in the middle of the circle, so Sayyiduna Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: According to the command of Muhammad, peace be upon him, such a person is cursed. Or he said: Allah has cursed the person who sits in the middle of the circle on the tongue of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Prohibition of Saying to Your Believing Brother What Is Not in Him​

① Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with both of them, states that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say:
من قال فى مؤمن ما ليس فيه أسكنه الله ردغة الخبال حتى يخرج مما قال
“Whoever says about a believer something that is not in him, Allah will make him dwell in the pus of the Hellfire until he leaves what he said.”
