Sign of the Day of Judgment: There will be love for the world and hatred for death
عن أبى هريرة رضى الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : يا ثوبان ! كيف أنت إذا تداعت عليكم الأمم كتداعيكم على قصعة الطعام يصيبون منه قال ثوبان : بأبي وأمي يا رسول الله ؟ أمن قلة بنا؟ قال : لا ، أنتم يومئذ كثير ولكن يلقى فى قلوبكم الوهن قالوا : وما الوهن يا رسول الله ؟ قال حبكم الدنيا وكراهيتكم القتال
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), "O Thawban! What will be the condition of your (Muslim) community when (disbelieving) nations will attack you as you attack a food vessel?" Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "May my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! Will we be few in number at that time?" He said, "No, rather you will be many, but Allah will put weakness in your hearts." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is weakness?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Love for the world and hatred for Jihad."

In one narration it is: "Love for the world and hatred for death."
Benefits:
➊ Love for the world and hatred of death is a sign of the Day of Judgment.
➋ The manifestation of this sign is taking place.
➌ The primary reason for the defeat and disarray of Muslims has been stated as love for the world and hatred of jihad.
➍ Today, Muslims are being humiliated and disgraced; mountains of oppression and cruelty are being inflicted upon Muslims everywhere on the globe. Whether it is Kashmir or Palestine, Bosnia or Chechnya, Muslims are victims of bloodshed everywhere. In recent days, the entire disbelieving Ummah has united against Afghanistan, and the blood of innocent people is being shed in a gruesome manner.
➎ To be protected from humiliation, degradation, and oppression, there is a need for a widespread jihadi force, technology, modern resources, and individuals possessing a jihadi character and conduct, who will take on the responsibility of guiding the Muslim Ummah correctly with full strategy and in accordance with the demands of the time.
