Sign of the Day of Judgment: People will become strangers
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the Day of Judgment. He (peace be upon him) said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, and He alone is well aware of its time. But I will tell you some signs of the Day of Judgment that will occur before it. Before the Day of Judgment, turmoil and killing will become widespread." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! We know about turmoil, but what is killing?" He said: "In the Abyssinian language, killing means 'harj'. (And he said) People will become strangers to one another as if they do not recognize each other."

Benefits:
(1) People becoming strangers to each other despite being Muslims is a sign of the Day of Judgment.
(2) This sign has become as clear as possible, but gradually its increase is inevitable.
(3) Even two worshippers in the same mosque are unaware of each other's circumstances and often do not even know each other's names.
(4) Members of one household are strangers to the members of the neighboring household. Large cities, especially Lahore and Karachi, are vivid examples of this.
(5) The possibility of an increase in this sign cannot be denied, but we should provide evidence through our actions of sharing in the joys and sorrows of others, so that at least we do not become an example of this sign.
