Sharʿi Ruling on Giving Commission for a Lawful Task and the Status of Its Income

What is the ruling on giving commission for a lawful due?
I am an engineer running my own business. To receive our legitimate dues from various government or non-government departments, we often have to pay commission. Without paying this commission, it is nearly impossible to get our work completed. We only take our lawful profit and payment for labor, but when commission has to be given even for a completely legitimate task, will our income in such a case be considered ḥalāl according to the Qur’an and Sunnah?
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿAmma Baʿd!
If in giving such commission:
✿ No one else’s rights are violated,
✿ The work being done is lawful,
✿ There is no form of Sharʿi prohibition involved,
then paying such commission is permissible.
Therefore, in this situation, your income will be Sharʿi ḥalāl.
