Is it Sunnah to perform ṭawāf repeatedly?
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd!
Yes, performing repeated ṭawāf is an act of virtue and reward.
◈ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed multiple ṭawāfs during the days of Minā, which indicates the merit and excellence of this practice.
◈ Likewise, the aḥādīth regarding the virtues of ṭawāf also point out that doing it repeatedly is an act of reward and nearness to Allah ﷻ.
◈ Similarly, just as a person may perform multiple ʿUmrahs for the sake of reward, he may also perform multiple ṭawāfs, since Sharīʿah has permitted it.
