◈ Woman as an Imām Among Women:
If a woman is to lead other women in prayer, she should stand in the middle of the row.
أمَّتنا عائشة فقامت بينهن في الصلاة المكتوبة
“Our mother ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها led us in the obligatory prayer while standing in the middle of the row.”
[Sunan al-Dāraqutnī: 1507]
Its chain is authentic.
Imām Nawawī رحمه الله has declared the chain of narration to be Ṣaḥīḥ (authentic).
