Is there any virtue of the last Wednesday of Safar mentioned in the Hadith?

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿammā baʿd!
There is absolutely no evidence, not even the slightest, for any virtue of the last Wednesday of the month of Safar in any authentic Hadith — nor in any weak narration.
Likewise, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never observed a fast on this day in his entire life in any specific manner.
Therefore, to designate this day for fasting or to believe it holds any special reward is outright misguidance and an innovation (bid‘ah).
