❖ Question
Should Thana (سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ...) be recited at the beginning of every rakʿah, or only once at the start of prayer?
❖ Answer
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!
Thana is to be recited only at the beginning of the first rakʿah of Salah.
In the subsequent rakʿāt, there is no need to recite it again.
