Ruling on Gifting a Gift to Someone Else

✿ Written by: Saudi Fatwa Committee (Fatāwā)

❖ Gifting What One Has Received as a Gift

If someone is given a gift, it is permissible for them to gift it to someone else. For example:

If Muḥammad gives a gift to ʿAbdullāh, then ʿAbdullāh is allowed to give that same gift to ʿAbdur-Raḥmān, as it has become his personal property, and he may dispose of it as he pleases.
