Ruling on Forgetting to Say Allahu Akbar While Stoning the Jamarat

📖 Source: Fatawa Amanpuri by Shaykh Ghulam Mustafa Zaheer Amanpuri

❀ Question:

If one does not say Allahu Akbar while throwing pebbles at the Jamarat, what is the ruling?

❀ Answer:

Saying takbir (Allahu Akbar) during the stoning of the Jamarat is mustahabb (recommended).
However, if a person does not say it, his ramy is still valid by consensus.

Hafiz Ibn Hajar (رح) said:
أجمعوا على أن من لم يكبر فلا شيء عليه
"The scholars have agreed that if one does not say takbir (during the stoning), there is nothing upon him (no penalty, etc.)."
