✿ Question:
Is it obligatory for a domestic maid to observe hijab in front of her employer?
✿ Answer:
Yes, it is obligatory for a domestic maid to observe proper hijab in the presence of her employer.
She is not permitted to display adornment before him, nor is it permissible for them to be in seclusion together, due to the generality of the Sharʿī evidences prohibiting such situations.
Moreover, her uncovering herself or displaying her beauty before her employer can lead to temptation (fitnah). Likewise, being alone with her employer may become a cause of Satanic misguidance for him.
