This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Abu Imamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
اقرأوا القرآن فإنه يأتى يوم القيامة شفيعا لأصحابه
"Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciter on the Day of Resurrection."

② Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
الماهر بالقرآن مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن ويتتعتع فيه وهو عليه شاق له أجران
"The expert in the Quran will be with the noble scribes (angels). And whoever recites the Quran with difficulty and stammers through it, will have twice the reward."

③ Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
يقال لصاحب القرآن اقرأ وارتق ورتل كما كنت ترتل فى الدنيا فإن منزلتك عند آخر آية تقرؤها
"(On the Day of Resurrection) the one who recites the Quran will be told: Keep reciting and ascend, and recite as you used to recite in the world with tartil (measured recitation). Your final verse will be your destination."

④ Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
من قرأ حرفا من كتاب الله فله به حسنة، والحسنة بعشر أمثالها، لا أقول الم حرف، ولكن ألف حرف ولام حرف وميم حرف
"Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will have a good deed credited to him, and each good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Meem is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter."

⑤ Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
يقول الله تبارك وتعالى: من شغله قراءة القرآن عن مسألتي أعطيته أفضل ما أعطي السائلين
"Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: Whoever is unable to ask Me for something because he is busy with the recitation of the Quran, I will give him something better than what those who ask Me receive."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Virtues of the Quran 2926. Darimi, Book of Virtues of the Quran 3356. This narration is very weak. In its chain, Muhammad bin Hasan al-Hamdani is abandoned, and Atiyah is a fabricator whose memory is not reliable.
⑥ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him), he said:
يجيء القرآن يوم القيامة فيقول: يا رب حله، فيلبس تاج الكرامة، ثم يقول: يا رب زده، فيلبس حلة الكرامة، فيقول: يا رب ارض عنه، فيرضى عنه، فيقال له: اقرأ وارق، وتزاد بكل آية حسنة
"On the Day of Resurrection, the Quran will come and say: O Lord! Adorn him (the owner of the Quran), so He will crown him with the crown of honor. Then it will say: O Lord! Bestow more upon him, so He will clothe him with the robe of dignity. Then it will say: O Lord! Be pleased with him, so He will be pleased with him. Then he will be told: Keep reciting and ascend to higher ranks, and for every verse, a good deed will be added."

⑦ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
ما اجتمع قوم فى بيت من بيوت الله تبارك وتعالى يتلون كتاب الله عز وجل ويتدارسونه بينهم إلا نزلت عليهم السكينة، وغشيتهم الرحمة، وحفتهم الملائكة، وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده
"When some people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and teaching it to one another, tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, angels surround them, and Allah mentions them among those with Him."

⑧ Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
من قرأ القرآن فاستظهره فأحل حلاله وحرم حرامه أدخله الله به الجنة وشفعه فى عشرة من أهل بيته كلهم قد وجبت لهم النار
"Whoever recites the Quran, memorizes it, considers its lawful things lawful and its prohibited things prohibited, Allah will admit him to Paradise because of it and will accept the intercession for ten members of his family for whom Hellfire has become obligatory."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Virtues of the Quran 2905. This narration is very weak. In its chain, Hafs bin Sulaiman is a narrator who is abandoned.
① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates from the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, who said:
ما اجتمع قوم فى بيت من بيوت الله يتلون كتاب الله ويتدارسونه بينهم إلا نزلت عليهم السكينة وغشيتهم الرحمة وحفتهم الملائكة وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده، ومن بطأ به عمله لم يسرع به نسبه
"When some people sit in a house of Allah and recite the Book of Allah, teaching and learning from one another, tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to the angels. And the lineage of a person will not benefit him if his deeds abandon him."

① Sayyiduna Abi bin Ka'b رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ما أنزل الله تعالى فى التوراة ولا فى الإنجيل مثل أم القرآن، وهى السبع المثاني، وهى مقسومة بيني وبين عبدي ولعبدي ما سأل
"Allah Almighty has not revealed any Surah like Surah Al-Fatiha in the Torah and the Injil. It is the Sab'a al-Mathani (the seven oft-repeated verses), it is divided between Me (the Lord) and My servant (half and half), and it is for My servant who asks for it."

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا تجعلوا بيوتكم مقابر، إن الشيطان ينفر من البيت الذى تقرأ فيه سورة البقرة
"Do not make your houses graves, for indeed, in the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited, Satan flees from it."

③ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لكل شيء سنام، وسنام القرآن سورة البقرة، وفيها آية هي سيدة آي القرآن آية الكرسي
"Everything has a hump (peak), and the hump of the Qur'an is Surah Al-Baqarah. In it is one verse, that is Ayat al-Kursi, which is the chief (leader) of the Qur'an."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Kitab Fada'il al-Qur'an 2878. Its chain is weak. In it, Hakim bin Jubayr, the narrator, is weak.
④ Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Badri رضي الله عنه narrates from the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, he said:
من قرأ بالآيتين من آخر سورة البقرة فى ليلة كفتاه
"Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they are sufficient for him."

⑤ Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir رضي الله عنه narrates from the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, he said:
إن الله كتب كتابا قبل أن يخلق السماوات والأرض بألفي عام، أنزل منه آيتين ختم بهما سورة البقرة، ولا يقرآن فى دار ثلاث ليال فيقربها شيطان
"Allah wrote a book two thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth, and He extracted two verses from it to complete Surah Al-Baqarah, and whoever recites them for three days in a house, Satan does not come near it."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من حفظ عشر آيات من أول سورة الكهف عصم من فتنة الدجال
"Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of the Dajjal."
And in another narration:
من آخر سورة الكهف
"The last ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf."
