In the Eid and Janazah (funeral) prayers, is it correct to raise the hands and fold them after each takbir, or should one raise the hands and fold them only after the first takbir?❖ Answer:
In the Takbirs of the Eid prayers, the preferred and stronger opinion is to fold the hands after each takbir. There is scholarly consensus on the obligation of standing with folded hands in the standing posture before the bowing (ruku').🖋 Maulana Muhammad Qasim Khawaja (رحمه الله) writes:
