This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Abu Hamza Abdul Khaliq Siddiqi's book Sahi Fazail-e-Amaal.
Mentioning the abundant worship of the people of understanding, Allah, the Lord of Glory, has narrated their long supplication, which is a collection of five "RABBANA" (Our Lord) prayers: ﴿رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ . رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ . رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ . رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ.﴾
"O our Lord! You have not created this creation in vain. You are pure (free from all useless and futile acts). Save us from the punishment of Hell. O our Master! Whoever You cast into Hell (to remain there forever), You have disgraced him, and the polytheists have no helper. O our Lord! We have heard the call of one who calls (to Your Oneness and Shariah) (Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, or the Quran) who invites to firm faith in You. (Or every caller to Allah says: O people!) Believe in your Lord, so we have believed. O our Lord! So forgive our sins and remove our evil deeds from us. And raise us up among the righteous in this world (grant us death in a state of righteousness). O our Master! Whatever You have promised us through Your messengers, grant it to us, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection (before all people). Indeed, You do not break promises."

Imam Qurtubi, may Allah have mercy on him, narrated from Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, may Allah have mercy on him, in Ahkam al-Quran that whoever is extremely sorrowful and distressed should recite five ”ربنا“, and Allah, the Almighty, will relieve him from grief. When asked for details, he said: "Recite from ﴿وَالَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ﴾ (the verse before the supplication) up to
