❖ Question
Many parents complain that their children are stubborn and do not obey them. Please suggest an effective Qur’anic wazīfah for such children.
❖ Answer
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿAmma Baʿd!
For children who are stubborn and disobedient, the following Qur’anic surahs and authentic supplications may be recited and blown over them. This is a beneficial and effective practice for their spiritual correction:
✿ Wazīfah (Daily Recitation for Ruqyah)
Recite the following surahs every day and blow upon the child:
- Sūrat al-Fātiḥah
- Āyat al-Kursī
- Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ (Qul Huwa Allāhu Aḥad)
- Sūrat al-Falaq (Qul Aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi’l-Falaq)
- Sūrat al-Nās (Qul Aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi’n-Nās)
✿ Masnūn Duʿā
Recite this supplication and blow upon the child:
"إِنِّیْ أُعِیْذُکَ بِکَلِمَاتِ اﷲِ التَّامَّۃِ مِنْ کُلِّ شَیْطَانٍ وَّہَآمَّۃٍ وَمِنْ کُلِّ عَیْنٍ لاَ مَّۃٍ"
(I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil, poisonous creature, and every harmful eye.)
❖ Conclusion
By regularly performing this ruqyah with sincerity, in shā’ Allāh al-Mannān, the child will be freed from stubbornness and granted obedience and goodness.
