Ibn Saʿd has narrated the elegy (marthiyah) of ʿĀtikah bint ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, in which she says:
«علي المرتضى للبرو العدل والتقي وللدين و الاسلام بعد المظال»
“Mourn over him who, after being wronged, was favored for righteousness, justice, piety, religion, and Islam.”
«على الطاهر الميمون ذى الحلم اولندي وذي الفضل والداعي لخير التراحم»
“He was pure, blessed, forbearing, noble, virtuous, and one who invited to mutual kindness and compassion.”
The chain of narration is extremely weak.
[Ṭabaqāt Ibn Saʿd, Translated, Vol. 2, p. 367]
This chain contains Wāqidī, who is a known liar and rejected (matrūk) narrator.
