“When the Qur’an is recited, listen to it attentively and remain silent, so that you may be shown mercy.”
According to this noble verse, silence is required at the time of reciting and explaining the Qur’an. Chanting slogans during sermons constitutes noise and disturbance, which is contrary to the etiquette of the Qur’an.
Furthermore, there is no authentic narration establishing that the Companions رضي الله عنهم used to raise slogans during the sermons of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Therefore, it is necessary to avoid such practices, as they conflict with the proper manners of listening to the Qur’an and Islamic admonition.

Question:
What is the ruling on chanting slogans during religious gatherings?Answer:
When the Noble Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered sermons and admonitions, he would convey the Words of Allah, and the Companions رضي الله عنهم would listen attentively and with full concentration. The Qur’an itself commands attentive listening, as Allah the Exalted says:Translation:﴿وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ﴾
