Prohibition of Fairs at the Grave
In Sunan Abi Dawood, there is a hadith in which the Mercy to the Worlds, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
لا تتخذوا قبرى عيدا وصلوا على حيثما كنتم فإن صلوتكم تبلغنى
“Do not make my grave a place of a fair, and wherever you are, keep sending blessings upon me; your blessings will be conveyed to me.”

According to a hadith narrated in Muwatta Malik, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
لا تجعل قبرى وثنا يعبد اشتد غضب الله على قوم اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد
“O Allah! Do not let my grave become an idol that is worshipped. Allah’s wrath descended upon the nation that made the graves of their prophets places of worship.”

The Indecency of Andalusian, the Great-Grandson of Hazrat Ali
It is narrated in Sunan Saeed bin Mansoor that Abdullah bin Hassan bin Hassan bin Ali bin Abu Talib, who belonged to the Husayni family and was highly respected among the followers of the followers during the era of the Abbasid Caliphate, said:
رأى رجلا يكثر الاختلاف إلى قبر النبى فقال: يا هذا إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: لا تتخذوا قبرى عيدا وصلوا على حيثما كنتم فإن صلوتكم تبلغنى فما أنت ورجل بالأندلس إلا سواها
"He saw a person repeatedly coming and going near the honored grave. He said: O so-and-so! The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: 'Do not turn my grave into a place of festivity, and wherever you are, keep sending blessings upon me. Your blessings will be conveyed to me, so you and the person living in Andalusia are equal.'"
