This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that he passed by a reciter who was reciting the Quran and asking people through it. So Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) recited ﴿إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ﴾ and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
من قرأ القرآن فليسأل الله به ، وسيجيء أقوام يقرءون القرآن يسألون به الناس
"Whoever recites the Quran, let him ask Allah through it, and soon there will come people who will recite the Quran and ask people through it."

① Sayyiduna Saad bin Ubadah رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ما من امرئ يقرأ القرآن ثم ينساه إلا لقي الله عز وجل يوم القيامة أجذم
"Whoever recites the Quran and then forgets it, on the Day of Resurrection he will meet Allah Almighty while suffering from leprosy."

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
عرضت على أجور أمتي حتى القذاة يخرجها الرجل من المسجد وعرضت على ذنوب أمتي فلم أر ذنبا أعظم من سورة من القرآن أو آية أوتيها الرجل ثم نسيها
"The deeds of my Ummah were presented to me, even the straw that a man removes from the mosque, and the sins of my Ummah were also presented to me, and among them I saw the greatest sin was that a man memorized a Surah or an Ayah of the Quran and then forgot it."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
اتقوا الحديث عني إلا ما علمتم ، فمن كذب على متعمدا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار
"Refrain from speaking on my behalf beyond what you know. So whoever deliberately attributes falsehood to me, let him prepare his abode in Hell."

② Sayyiduna Jundub رضي الله عنه reports that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من قال فى كتاب الله عز وجل برأيه فأصاب فقد أخطأ
"Whoever speaks about the Book of Allah, the Exalted, (the Qur'an) according to his own opinion, and he is correct, still he has erred."
