This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, states that I received the news that Sayyida Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her, asked: O Messenger of Allah! Will we be destroyed while we are among the righteous? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
نعم، إذا كثر الخبث
"Yes! When evil becomes widespread."

② Sayyida Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrates that the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
لا يقولن أحدكم خبثت نفسي، ولكن ليقل لقست نفسي
"None of you should say due to indigestion: My soul has become evil, but rather say: My soul has become unpleasant."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
ليس منا من خبب امرأة على زوجها، أو عبدا على سيده
"Whoever incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us."

② It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
المؤمن غر كريم، والفاجر خب لئيم
"A believer is simple and generous, while a wicked person is cunning and miserly."

① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
تجدون من شر الناس عند الله ذا الوجهين، الذى يأتى هؤلاء بوجه وهؤلاء بوجه
"You will find the worst person in the sight of Allah to be the double-faced one, who comes to some people with one face and to others with another face."

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه also narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
إن من شر الناس عند الله يوم القيامة ذا الوجهين
"The worst person in the sight of Allah on the Day of Judgment will be the double-faced one."

③ Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir رضي الله عنهما narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من كان له وجهان فى الدنيا كان له يوم القيامة لسانان من نار
"Whoever has two faces in this world (double-faced), on the Day of Judgment he will have two tongues of fire."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas Jahni, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
من حمى مؤمنا من منافق بعث الله تعالى ملكا يحمي لحمه يوم القيامة من نار جهنم، ومن رمى مسلما بشيء يريد شينه به حبسه الله على جسر جهنم حتى يخرج مما قال
"Whoever protects a believer from a hypocrite, Allah will send an angel who on the Day of Judgment will protect his flesh from the fire of Hell, and whoever accuses a Muslim falsely and intends evil through it, Allah will stop him at the bridge of Hell until he repents and withdraws what he said."
