This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
ثلاثة لا تقبل منهم صلاتهم من تقدم قوما وهم له كارهون ورجل أتى الصلاة دبارا والدبر أن يأتيها بعد أن تفوته ومن اعتبد محرره
The prayer of three types of people is not accepted: first, the person who leads people in prayer while they dislike him; second, the person who prays at the last moment; and third, the person who re-enslaves a person he has freed.

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
إذا أبق العبد لم تقبل له صلاة
"When a slave runs away, his prayer is not accepted."

② Sayyiduna Jarir رضي الله عنه also states that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
إذا أبق العبد لم تقبل له صلاة حتى يرجع إلى مواليه
"When a slave runs away, his prayer is not accepted until he returns."

① Sayyiduna Buraydah رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا تقولوا للمنافق: سيد، فإنه إن يك سيدا فقد أسخطتم ربكم عز وجل
"Do not call a hypocrite 'Sayyid' (master) because if he becomes a master and leader, you have displeased your Lord, the Exalted."

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا يقولن أحدكم: أطعم ربك، وض ربك، اسق ربك، وليقل: سيدي ومولاي، ولا يقل أحدكم: عبدي وأمتي، وليقل: فتاي وفتاتي وغلامي
"None of you should say: Feed your Lord, perform ablution for your Lord, give water to your Lord. Rather, say: My master, my lord. And none of you should say: My servant (male or female), but rather say: My servant (male), my servant (female), and my slave."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
من تولى قوما بغير إذن مواليه فعليه لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين، لا يقبل منه صرف ولا عدل
"Whoever appoints someone as his guardian without the permission of his masters, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all mankind; neither his obligatory nor voluntary deeds will be accepted."
