Prohibition of drinking while standing and blowing into the drink

This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.

Prohibition of Drinking While Standing​

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade drinking while standing. The narrator says, we asked: then what is the ruling on eating? The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ذٰلك أشر
"This is even worse than that."
Or the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أشر أو أخبث
"It is even more impure than that."

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reports that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا يشربن أحد منكم قائما ، فمن نسي فليستقئ
"None of you should drink while standing; whoever forgets and does so should vomit."

Prohibition of Blowing into the Drink​

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade drinking from the broken part of a cup and blowing into the drink.

② Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما states that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade breathing into or blowing into a vessel.
