Prohibition of calling Maghrib as Isha, the prayer between Maghrib and Isha, and urging children to pray

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mosuli's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal Nawaahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamaat o Mamnooat.

Prohibition of calling Maghrib prayer as Isha

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (RA) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
لا تغلبنكم الأعراب على اسم صلاتكم المغرب ، و يقول الأعراب: هي العشاء
"Do not let the villagers overpower you by calling your Maghrib prayer by their name; the villagers say it is Isha."
Reference: Bukhari, Book of Prayer Times 563.

Prayer between Maghrib and Isha

① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) reports that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
من صلى بعد المغرب ست ركعات لم يتكلم فيما بينهن بسوء عدلن له عبادة اثنتي عشرة سنة
"Whoever prays six rak'ahs after Maghrib and does not say anything bad between them, will receive the reward equivalent to twelve years of worship."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Prayer 435. Ibn Majah, Establishing Prayer and Sunnah in it 1374. This narration is very weak. In the chain, Umar bin Abdullah bin Abi Khash'am is a narrator who rejects the hadith.

Encouraging children to pray

① Sayyiduna Sabrah bin Ma'bad Jahni رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
مروا الصبي بالصلاة إذا بلغ سبع سنين فإذا بلغ عشر سنين فاضربوه عليها
"When a child reaches seven years of age, command him to pray, and when he reaches ten years of age and does not pray, then beat him because of that."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Kitab al-Salat 494. Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Salat 407. This narration is authentic.

② Sayyiduna Sabrah bin Ma'bad Jahni رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
علموا الصبي الصلاة ابن سبع و اضربوه عليها ابن عشر
"When a child reaches seven years of age, teach him to pray, and when he reaches ten years of age and does not pray, then beat him because of that."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Salat 407. The narration is authentic.

③ Sayyiduna Amr bin Shu'aib رضي الله عنه narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
مروا أولادكم بالصلاة وهم أبناء سبع سنين واضربوهم عليها وهم أبناء عشر وفرقوا بينهم فى المضاجع
"When children reach seven years of age, command them to pray, and when they reach ten years of age and do not pray, then beat them and separate their beds at that age."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Kitab al-Salat 495. Musnad Ahmad, Musnad al-Mukthirin min al-Sahabah 2/187. The narration is authentic.
