Avoidance of the Rear
Regarding physical relations with women, this verse from Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed:
نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّىٰ شِئْتُمْ ۖ وَقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُم مُّلَاقُوهُ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
"Women are your fields, so come to your fields as you wish and prepare for your future, and fear Allah, and know that you will meet Him; and give good news to the believers."
Reference: (Surah Al-Baqarah: 223)
Concerning the reason for the revelation of this verse and its wisdom, Allama Hind Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlvi (may Allah have mercy on him) explained as follows:
The Jews, without any divine command, had unnecessarily created restrictions regarding the method of intercourse, and the Ansar and others who lived near them had adopted their method. These people believed that if a man had intercourse from behind, the offspring would be deformed. Then this verse was revealed: فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ
Reference: Bukhari, Book of Tafsir, Surah Al-Baqarah: Chapter "Your women are your fields," Hadith: 4528; Muslim, Book of Nikah, Chapter on Permissibility of Intercourse with One's Wife from the Front, Hadith: 1435
Meaning, intercourse should be done from the front part, whether the method is from the front or from behind. The method of intercourse has no relation to civilization or communal interest. As for personal interest, a person knows his own interest well. In this matter, the narrow-mindedness of the Jews was the result of their cunning, so it had to be rejected.

Religion did not feel the need to specify the methods and conditions of intercourse. Its main concern is that a person fears Allah and knows that he will certainly meet Him. With this understanding, one should avoid intercourse from behind because it is a filthy place and this act is similar to the evil act of sodomy. Therefore, it was necessary for the Shariah to prohibit it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
لا تأتوا النساء فى أدبارهن
"Do not have intercourse with women from their behind (anus)."
Reference: Musnad Ahmad: 213/5; Ibn Majah, Book of Nikah, Chapter on Prohibition of Intercourse with Women from Behind, Hadith: 1934
And the one who has intercourse with a woman from behind, the Prophet (peace be upon him) declared this act as the deed of the people of Lot.
"This is also a kind of sodomy."
Reference: Musnad Ahmad: 210, 182/2
A woman from the Ansar asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the ruling on intercourse from behind the front part, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited the verse: فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ.
Reference: Musnad Ahmad: 310, 305/6
And Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked:
يارسول الله أهلكت قال وما أهلكك؟ قال حولت رحلي البارحة فلم يرد عليه شيئا حتى نزلت الآية السابقة فقال له أقبل وأدبر واتق الحيضة والدبر
"O Messenger of Allah! I am ruined." He was asked, "What happened?" Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Last night I turned my mount, meaning I had intercourse from behind." The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not reply until this verse was revealed. After that, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Come from the front or from behind, but avoid intercourse during menstruation and from behind."

Preservation of the Secrets of Marriage
The Quran, while describing righteous wives, says:
قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ
"Righteous women are devoutly obedient and guard in the husband's absence what Allah would have them guard."
Reference: (Surah An-Nisa: 34)
Among the secrets that must be guarded are those that pertain to the special relationship between spouses. It is not appropriate to discuss these confidential matters in gatherings of friends and female companions. The Hadith states:
"On the Day of Judgment, the worst person in the sight of Allah will be the one who fulfills his desire with a woman and then exposes her secrets."
Reference: Muslim, Book of Marriage, Chapter on the Prohibition of Disclosing a Woman’s Secrets, Hadith: 1437
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) led us in prayer, and when he finished, he turned towards us and said: "Stay seated and listen. Is there anyone among you who goes to his wife, closes the door, and draws the curtain, then when he comes out, he goes around telling people what he did with his wife?" No one answered his question. Then he turned towards the women and said: "Are there any women among you who do such things?" A woman, who was trying to see the Prophet (peace be upon him) on her knees and listen to his words, said: "By Allah, men do such things and women do as well." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
هل تدرون مامثل من فعل ذلك؟ إن مثل من فعل ذلك مثل شيطن وشيطانة لقى احدهما صاحبه بالسكة فقضى حاجته منها والناس ينظرون إليه
"Do you know what kind of person is the one who does such things? His example is like Satan or a devil who meets his wife openly and fulfills his desire while people are watching this (spectacle)."
Reference: Musnad Ahmad: 2/540-541, Abu Dawood, Book of Marriage, Chapter on What is Disliked Regarding a Man’s Mention, Hadith: 2174, and its chain is weak
This example is sufficient for a Muslim to detest such foolishness because it is a very disgraceful act, and no Muslim would want to become like Satan or a devil.
