This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Abu Hamza Abdul Khaliq Siddiqi's book Sahi Fazail-e-Amaal.
The Holy Quran is a book revealed by Allah Almighty that contains the jewels and pearls of knowledge. It has proverbs as well as the conditions and events of past nations. It contains admonition and advice along with stern words of reprimand.
In short, this book contains every wise statement. Wherever Allah Almighty has commanded to pray to Him in the Quran and has described its virtues, He has also mentioned the prayers and supplications of His chosen and selected servants. Besides this, many other prayers have also been mentioned in it. Read some of these profound prayers and memorize them to make them a regular part of your daily routine:
◈ The Prayer of Our Master Adam (peace be upon him):
Allah Almighty created Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), honored him, and then created his wife, Lady Hawwa (peace be upon her), from his rib. Allah, the Exalted, bestowed His blessings upon them and commanded both to live in Paradise and enjoy its bounties, except for one tree whose fruit Allah forbade them to eat:
﴿وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ﴾
"And do not approach this tree."

Thus, Satan followed them, continuously tempting them in various ways, instilling in their hearts and minds the idea that if they ate from the forbidden tree, they would remain in Paradise forever and never be expelled. Consequently, they slipped and ate from the forbidden tree, deceived by Satan. As a result, they became aware of their private parts, and both of them began to cover themselves with leaves from the trees of Paradise to conceal themselves. At the same time, they admitted their mistake before Allah, and Allah taught them to pray for forgiveness with this supplication:
﴿رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ﴾
"Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."

◈After cursing the destruction of the nation, the prayer of Sayyiduna Nuh (peace be upon him) for his family and the believers:
When Sayyiduna Nuh (peace be upon him) became certain that this rebellious nation would never reform, nor would good people be born from their offspring, then after being compelled to curse the disbelievers, he finally prayed for forgiveness for himself, his parents, and all the believers who entered his house:
﴿رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا﴾
"O my Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and forgive all the believing men and believing women. But increase the destruction of the wrongdoers (disbelievers and polytheists) day by day."

◈Prayers of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him):
Several prayers of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) are present in the Holy Quran. His first prayer is related to the construction of the Kaaba. When both father and son together raised the foundation of the house, Sayyiduna Ismail (peace be upon him) kept bringing stones and Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) kept assembling them. When the structure became high, they brought the stone (Maqam Ibrahim) on which Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) stood while assembling, and Sayyiduna Ismail (peace be upon him) kept bringing stones to him. Both kept circling around the House of Allah, assembling it, and said:
﴿رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ . ... وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ۔﴾
"O our Lord! Accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing. And forgive us our sins. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful."

✿ When Allah's Khalil, Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him), taught his father and his people the oneness of the Lord of the Worlds, there was a formal question and answer session with him. At the end of this conversation, he praised Allah, glorified Him, and described His various blessings. Finally, he raised both his hands for prayer and said with great humility and submission:
﴿رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ ۔ وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ۔ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ ۔ وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ ۔ وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ۔﴾
"O my Lord! Grant me understanding of the religion and the ability to judge rightly, and join me with the righteous. And make my mention good among later generations, and make me among the inheritors of the gardens of bliss... And do not disgrace me on the Day they are resurrected."

◈Expression of Gratitude by Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him):
Prophet Solomon son of David (peace be upon them) was given the knowledge of the languages of birds and insects. Once, when he set out with his well-organized army consisting of jinn, humans, and birds, on the way they passed through a valley inhabited by ants. One ant, upon seeing this mighty army, said to the other ants, "All of you quickly enter your homes, lest Solomon and his army unknowingly crush you." At this moment, Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him) smiled and, thanking Allah, made this prayer:
﴿رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ﴾
"O my Lord! Enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness that pleases You, and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants."

◈Prayer of the People of the Cave:
The incident of the Companions of the Cave is detailed in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Kahf, and their prayer is also narrated in it:
﴿رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا﴾
"O our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us from our affair right guidance."
