Question:
Is there any prayer proven from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to be recited during wudu (ablution)?
Answer:
According to authentic ahadith, it is proven to recite “Bismillah” at the beginning of wudu and to recite the following dua at the end:
[Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Taharah, Bab Ma Yuqal Ba’d al-Wudu: 55]
As for reciting specific words or phrases after washing each part of the body during wudu, there is no evidence for this practice in any authentic or reliable hadith.
