رَحِمَ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا سَمْحًا، إِذَا بَاعَ، وَإِذَا اشْتَرَى، وَإِذَا اقْتَضَى
"May Allah have mercy on a person who is kind when he sells, when he buys, and when he demands payment." [Sahih Bukhari / Al-Buyoo: 2076]
"Allah loves a person who is gentle in taking, giving, and in buying and selling."
[Tirmidhi / Al-Buyoo: 1319]
Additionally, there is a Hadith stating that Allah admitted a man into Paradise because he was gentle when he bought, sold, paid, and demanded payment. [Nasai / Al-Buyoo: 4700]
It is evident that good manners in transactions are a significant virtue. Furthermore, it is a fact that a kind-hearted trader experiences abundant blessings in their business. We should approach others with a smiling face and an open heart in such dealings while avoiding stinginess and selfishness. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) also practiced gentleness in these matters. [Sahih Bukhari / Al-Wakala: 2305]
