❀ Permissible Acts During Iʿtikāf ❀

Question:
Which actions are allowed during Iʿtikāf? Kindly inform us about them.
Permissible Acts During Iʿtikāf:
➊ Leaving the mosque for a necessary need
It is allowed to leave the mosque for essential requirements.
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Kitāb al-Iʿtikāf: Bāb Hal Yakhruju al-Muʿtakif Li-Ḥājahihi ḥadīth 2035]
➋ Setting up a tent inside the mosque
It is permissible to place a tent or enclosed space in the mosque for Iʿtikāf.
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Kitāb al-Iʿtikāf: Bāb al-Akhbiyyah fī al-Masjid ḥadīth 2034]
➌ The wife may visit her husband in the mosque
The wife of the muʿtakif can visit him in the mosque. If necessary, the husband may accompany her to her home without a maḥram.

➍ A woman suffering from istiḥāḍah (non-menstrual bleeding) may perform Iʿtikāf
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Kitāb al-Iʿtikāf: Bāb Iʿtikāf al-Mustaḥāḍah ḥadīth 2037]
➎ The muʿtakif may put his head outside the mosque
His wife may comb his hair or wash it, even if she is in a state of ḥayḍ (menstruation).
