✔ Permissibility of Sitting Near the Grave During Burial

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ bin ‘Azib (رضي الله عنه) that:
“We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for the funeral of an Ansari man. When we reached the grave, the niche (لحد) had not yet been dug.
So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat facing the Qiblah, and we sat around him.”

This Hadith clearly proves the permissibility of sitting near the grave during the process of burial.
