✍ Written by: Imran Ayyub Lahori
It is narrated that when Hazrat ‘Uthman bin Maz‘un (رضي الله عنه) was buried, the Prophet (ﷺ) instructed a man to bring a stone.
When the man was unable to lift it, the Prophet (ﷺ) helped him, and placed the stone at the head of the grave, then said:
أتـعـلـم بهـا قبـر أخـى وأدفن إليه من مات من أهلى
"Through this, I will recognize my brother’s grave and bury those among my family who pass away near him."
