✔ Permissibility of a Husband Burying His Wife

It is permissible for a husband to bury his wife, as this is supported by the Prophetic practice and teachings.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) expressed this intention to Hazrat A’ishah (رضي الله عنها):
فهياتكِ ودفنتكِ
"(It is as if) I will prepare you and bury you."

This narration affirms that the husband holds the right and responsibility to perform the burial of his wife. This includes lowering her into the grave, provided Islamic guidelines of modesty and respect are observed.
