Orders regarding killing disbelievers, killing apostates, and migration

This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal Nawaahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkaamat o Mamnooat.

Instructions Regarding Killing Disbelievers

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
إثنان لا يجتمعان فى النار اجتماعا يضر أحدهما الآخر
"Two types of people cannot be gathered together in Hellfire such that one harms the other."
It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are those people? He said:
"They are the believer who kills a disbeliever and then remains steadfast on the right path."
Reference: Muslim, Kitab al-Imarah 1891/131, Nasai, Kitab al-Jihad 13/6.

② It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لا يجتمع كافر وقاتله فى النار أبدا
"A disbeliever and his killer can never be gathered together in Hellfire."
Reference: Muslim, Kitab al-Imarah 131/1891, Nasai, Kitab al-Jihad 13/6.

Instructions Regarding Killing an Apostate

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Aslam, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:
من بدل دينه فاضربوا عنقه
"Whoever changes his religion (Islam), kill him."
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, states that if a person leaves the fold of Islam and becomes an atheist, they should be killed as soon as they are overpowered, and they will not be asked to repent.

Instructions Regarding Migration

① It is narrated from Kaseer bin Marah, may Allah have mercy on him, that Abu Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated a hadith to him in which he said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me about an action that I can remain steadfast upon and practice. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to him:
عليك بالهجرة فإنه لا مثل لها
"Migrating is obligatory upon you because there is no example like it."
Reference: Nasa'i 130/7.

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say:
لا تنقطع الهجرة حتى تنقطع التوبة ولا تنقطع التوبة حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها
"Migration will not cease until repentance ceases, and repentance will not cease until the sun rises from the west (the Day of Judgment occurs)."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Book of Jihad 2479. Musnad Ahmad, Musnad al-Shamiyyin 4/122, Hadith 16911.
