Is One Tawaf and Sa’i Sufficient for a Qiran Hajj Pilgrim?

Is one Tawaf and one Sa’i sufficient for a person performing Hajj Qirān?
Alḥamdulillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!
When a person performs Hajj Qirān — meaning Hajj and ʿUmrah combined in the same journey — one Tawaf and one Sa’i suffice for both Hajj and ʿUmrah.
❀ Tawaf al-Qudūm is Sunnah — if one wishes, he may perform it, and if not, he may leave it.
❀ If the pilgrim performs Tawaf al-Qudūm, he may then perform Sa’i immediately afterward, as the Prophet ﷺ did.
❀ Alternatively, he may delay Sa’i until after Tawaf al-Ifādah on the Day of Eid.
❀ It is better to perform Sa’i immediately after Tawaf al-Qudūm, as the Prophet ﷺ did.
❀ If Sa’i is done earlier, only Tawaf al-Ifādah will be required on Eid day; there will be no need to repeat Sa’i.
The evidence is in the statement of the Prophet ﷺ to ʿĀ’ishah (RA), who performed Hajj Qirān:
«طَوَافُکِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَباَلصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ يسعکِ لِحَجَّتِکِ وَعُمْرَتِکِ»
“Your Tawaf of the House and your Sa’i between Ṣafā and Marwah suffice for both your Hajj and your ʿUmrah.”
(Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Kitāb al-Manāsik, Bāb Ṭawāf al-Qārin, Ḥadīth: 1897)
In this ḥadīth, the Prophet ﷺ clearly stated that for a Qārīn (one performing Hajj Qirān), a single Tawaf and Sa’i are sufficient for both Hajj and ʿUmrah.
